Contact with us
If you contact us using the form on the website or by e-mail, the data you provide will be processed by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. This data will be forwarded within the Sattler Group to the relevant companies\agencies if necessary. For processing and answering, we rely on our legitimate interest in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, which consists of processing and answering your request quickly and, if necessary, responding to further queries. If your request results in the conclusion of a contract, we also process the personal data from your request on the basis of our (pre-)contractual obligations in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR.
Newsletter
You have the option of registering for our newsletter via our website. To do this, we need your name and contact details (e.g. name, company name, e-mail address).
As soon as you have registered for the newsletter, we will send you a confirmation e-mail with a link to confirm your registration. You can cancel your subscription to the newsletter at any time, e.g. by clicking on the unsubscribe link contained in the newsletter or by sending an e-mail to the address given in the legal notice.

Inquiry form in the Fabric Selector
You have the option of sending a request for specific products directly from the PRO-TEX Fabric Selector. For this we need your name and contact details.

Customer Cockpit
The Sattler PRO-TEX customer portal at https://protex.sattler.com/customer-cockpit offers existing customers an overview and management of the products and services they have used. You can view your orders, track deliveries if necessary and communicate directly with sales staff.
To create a user account, we use the data provided by you as a customer, which includes name and contact details (e.g. name, company name, e-mail address), as well as the information required for the order and delivery (delivery address, billing address, etc.). After creating your user account, you will be sent an e-mail to set your password.
You can also register for a newsletter in the customer portal. Processing takes place according to the information described in the Newsletter section. You can also have order confirmations sent to you by e-mail in the customer portal.
Data processing is carried out to fulfill our contractual obligations towards you (if you are our direct contractual partner) or on the basis of our legitimate interests in direct contact with our customers' employees and improved contract processing (Art 6 para 1 lit f GDPR).
Customer satisfaction survey
You have the opportunity to take part in a customer satisfaction survey. For this we need your name and contact details and information about your satisfaction. Data processing takes place on the basis of your voluntary consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR in conjunction with § 174 TKG 2021). The consent also includes the agreement that we contact you to clarify any questions.
Website analysis
In order to adapt the website to the interests of our visitors in the best possible way, an open source website analysis tool is used that logs the page views of our visitors. This is an installation of the Sattler Group, which means that no records are transmitted or made accessible to third parties.
Data processing is carried out on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR) in improving our offer and our website. As the privacy of our visitors is important to us, the IP address is anonymized (deletion of the last 16 bits of the IP address).
Security and speed of delivery
We use the Content Delivery Network (CDN) from Cloudflare, Inc, 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA, as a processor, to protect our web content from attacks and malicious bots, as well as to increase delivery speed.
A CDN is a globally distributed network of servers that optimizes and provides our web content for delivery. Parts of the web content are temporarily stored on their servers. When you access our web content, you receive it from the geographically closest server in the CDN.
Cloudflare collects statistical access data to provide the above-mentioned content. This includes, among other things, your IP address, the content you have accessed and the type and version of the Internet browser you are using.
Cloudflare uses this data to ensure the operation of our website on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR). In addition, they use the data as an independent controller to further develop their service and ensure the operation of our website.
Cloudflare only stores this log data for as long as necessary and it is usually deleted after 24 hours.
You have the rights of access under Art 15 GDPR, rectification under Art 16 GDPR, erasure under Art 17 GDPR, restriction under Art 18 GDPR, data portability under Art 20 GDPR and objection under Art 21 GDPR (if your data is processed on the basis of legitimate interests).
If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or your data protection claims have otherwise been violated in any way, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority in accordance with Art 77 GDPR. In Austria, this is the data protection authority.
