SATTLER PRO-TEX products are certified according to the European standard EN13501-1 and the German standard DIN 4102-1. These certifications guarantee that our membranes meet important security-related requirements. Moreover, the European norm is recognized in many EU-countries.
Foamed
SATTLER PRO-TEX foamed membranes are fabrics with outstanding technical properties that meet even the most demanding economic and ecological requirements.
Areas of application include tents, halls, Biogas plants and high-speed doors with the highest technical requirements such as thermal insulation, sound absorption and flame retardant properties.
- Insulation: The thermal conductivity is 3 times lower than a membrane without foam.
- Sound absorption: The foam reduces noises and echo effects.
- Water absorption: The closed cell structure prevents the foam from absorbing water.
- Smooth foam surface: Appealingly surface on the bottom of the membrane.
- Best use of light (block-out or translucent membrane).

All SATTLER PRO-TEX products:
• Are 100 % REACh-compliant.
• Do not contain any SVHC substances in the finished product.
• Are produced deliberately without harmful substances even if their use is permitted.
Plasticizers are used for the manufacturing of soft-PVC in order to swell up the brittle PVC and create a spreadable, elastic paste.
The main part of the plasticizers in use is made of phthalates. Phthalates are esters of the phthalic acid and have different properties depending on the chemical compound.
As a rule, all SATTLER PRO-TEX membranes are manufactured using phthalates with low migration properties only.
In special cases, we will eliminate the use of plasticizers with phthalates altogether.
